You're Not Here

You’re not here.

Annaleah and Brian had something special --- Annaleah is sure of it. When they were together, they didn’t need anyone else. It didn’t matter that it was secret. All that mattered was what they shared.
And then suddenly, Brian dies. And while everyone else has their role in the grieving process, Annaleah find herself living on the outside of it, unacknowledged and lonely. How can you recover from a loss no one will let you have.

Opinion:

This book, literally changed my life.Annaleah struggles with anxiety and depression, and shows all the pain she goes through. I honestly got into the book and could relate a lot. Is a poetry kind book, and I really liked. Samantha has another book called “I dont wanna be crazy” which I’m willing to read as soon as I get it. I recommend this book 100%. Its one of the best books I’ve ever read.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower
Movie-book

Charlie (Logan Lerman) is nervous about beginning his freshman year of high school. He is shy and slow to make friends.
Charlie eventually gets to make two new friends from senior year. Sam (Emma Watson) and her stepbrother Patrick (Ezra Miller). He admits to Sam that his best friend committed suicide the year before. He also sees Patrick and Brad (a popular athlete) kissing in a room. Sam realizes that Charlie has no other friends, and makes Charlie part of their group. On the way home from a party, the three drive through a tunnel and Sam stands up in the back of her pickup truck while listening to a song known through the film as "The Tunnel Song" ("Heroes" by David Bowie).
During Christmas, the group organizes a Secret Santa. Even though Sam was not Charlie's Santa, she still gives him a present, a vintage typewriter. They start talking about relationships, and Charlie reveals he has never been kissed. Sam opens up and tells him that her first kiss was from her father's boss when she was 11 years old. Sam then tells Charlie that she wants his first kiss to be from someone who loves him and she kisses Charlie.
Charlie returns to isolation after being told by Patrick to stay away while things cool down, because of a “fight” he had with Mary Elizabeth (his girlfriend) after kissing Sam during a Truth or dare game. Charlie has flashbacks of the death of his Aunt Helen who died in a car accident when he was seven years old.
Later, Patrick breaks up with Brad after Brad's father caught them together. At the school cafeteria, Brad calls Patrick a "faggot". Mary Elizabeth moved on to date Peter, Craig's friend. Patrick takes Charlie out to a park and Patrick tells about how he witnessed Brad's father beat him up when he found him with Patrick. Charlie hugs Patrick back, and feels comforatable because he knows how much Patrick is hurt.
The night before Sam departs, she takes Charlie upstairs, and after several heartfelt confessions to each other, they kiss. When she starts to touch him on his thigh, he instinctively pulls away gently. The next morning, Charlie says goodbye to Sam and Patrick who are leaving for college. Charlie is left emotionally shaken and alone again.
In a daze, Charlie goes to his empty home, having severe flashbacks of his Aunt Helen and her death. Charlie calls his sister, and blames himself for the death of his Aunt Helen. His sister, Candace, believes Charlie is suicidal and call the police. Charlie passes out as police are shown bursting through the door. Charlie wakes up in hospital. The physician Dr. Burton tells Charlie's parents that he was sexually abused by his aunt as a child. Charlie seems to have repressed the memories because of his love for her.
Sam and Patrick visited Charlie all the time, and Sam told him how she also found "The Tunnel Song" Charlie was searching for. The three revisit the tunnel, where this time Charlie stands in the back of the truck. Charlie acknowledges that he feels alive and in this moment, "We are infinite".

The book is the same thing, the only difference, its more detailed. The movie, you don’t realize as time goes by and in the book Candance never called the police. But, my opinion on “The Perks Of Being A Wallflower” is the best book I’ve ever read, and the best movie I’ve ever watched. I recomend it 100%
